- Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University
- Annabelle is a provisional psychologist, completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University. She uses an evidence-based and collaborative methods to support clients to feel empowered to strive for positive change. Annabelle values creating a non-judgmental and safe therapeutic space where clients can explore challenges and build on their strengths.
- Annabelle previously worked in a youth worker capacity and has experience working with drug and alcohol use, disruptive behaviours, and housing difficulties. This experience has shaped her compassionate and client-centred approach to therapy. Annabelle has therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem difficulties, and emotional management.
- Annabelle’s practice is grounded in evidence-based practice and she draws predominately from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Mindfulness-based strategies. Annabelle adapts her therapeutic style to meet each individual’s needs, offering support with warmth and flexibility. She recognises that therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable space, and strives to build connection and empathy which she believes are central to meaningful change.
- In her spare time, Annabelle enjoys spending quality time with others, cooking and having a little boogie to support her own wellbeing.
